I moved to Indian Rocks Beach with my family in 1978. I fished in New Jersey since my childhood and wanted to learn fishing on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I worked on a Commercial fishing boat for 1 year and ran the boat for another year but I didn't really like being out for weeks at a time. I began working on a charter boat as a deck hand in Madeira Beach in 1982. I got the chance to work with some very good Captains and gained allot of skills and experience. I moved to Clearwaater Beach and worked on a charter boat in Clearwater Marina one year.

I bought my own boat, the original "Snoopy Charterboat", in 1984. I sold the boat in 1995 and purchased the new "Snoopy II".

My deck hand and his wife are a very large part of my success. Charlie and Janet have been working with me since 1995.
